Androgogic Project Management Process

Androgogic uses a custom developed Project Management process based on elements in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). It is a light-weight but agile and robust process and one designed to achieve results transparently with strong management oversight and control of cost, time and risk.

This process uses the following documents:

  • Statement of Work (SOW)
    1. Overview
    2. Scope
    3. Risk assessment
    4. Project responsibilities
    5. High-level milestones
    6. Change
  • Project Management Plan (PMP)
    1. Objectives (reiterated from SOW)
    2. Scope (reiterated from SOW)
    3. Approach
    4. High-level milestones (reiterated from SOW)
    5. Project schedule including Work Breakdown Structure (specific tasks, dates and responsible parties)
    6. Communications plan
    7. Risk management plan (expanded from SOW)
    8. Resources required (people) (expanded from SOW)
    9. Quality plan
    10. Change management (expanded from SOW)
  • Status reports
    1. Tasks completed last cycle
    2. Tasks scheduled for next cycle
    3. Resource availability review for next cycle
    4. Progress against schedule
    5. Monitoring of identified and emerging risks, issues, queries and the effectiveness of mitigation strategies
    6. Tabling and review of any lodged change requests
  • Change management: including a process whereby changes to scope are documented, reviewed, costed (time and $), impacts to the schedule/resources evaluated and approved/rejected by the Executive team
  • System and/or Software Requirements Specification: including functional and quality requirements, design constraints, guidelines, branding imperatives, etc.
  • Close out review: where we examine the project outcomes and feed this into future projects in a process of continual improvement
